"This place is an absolute delight! We stayed in the Blue Heron and it was just perfect for a two night stay. It's very close to the road but you honestly don't even hear the traffic at all. The houses are right on the lake and it's so peaceful. We saw so many birds and turtles, even a lake otter swimming around! "A real secret gem. Quiet, but just a short drive to Deland. Attractive lakefront; fishing and boating. We needed separate bedrooms and this was a great option. Cheaper than two rooms at other hotels, and simpler. We were looking for a quiet getaway in the area, and this was perfect."
