"The neighborhood around the hotel was a bit rough but the hotel itself was nice, comfortable, and secure. Their (included) daily breakfast buffet was cooked up fresh with several tasty options. The whole staff from desk to cleaning crew were all nice. The room cleaning staff made up our rooms so crisply each morning. It is just a few-minute walk from a main subway line. "I didn't get up early enough for coffee, but with five coffee options within a block - it didn't matter. Rooms feel spacious for NYC, soft linens, good water pressure in shower, each room a little unique. The bar downstairs is expensive, but the drinks were top notch. "
