「The price was right -- much cheaper than most hotels today. I stayed there because it was very close to relatives I was visiting unlike other hotels on Route 4. Made for easy visit with little driving on unfamiliar roads. I liked the early 20th century / late 19th century decor and look and feel. Game/community room was small but nice touch. Where could it be better? (1) Musty smell in hallway outside my room -- not sure why -- much of building was fine (2) Lack of washer/dryer/laundry...

「Shower didn't even work & the most they offered was $60 in Expedia Credits」

「Luv luv this place had such a nice weekend... My only suggestion is to make sure if you plan on eating at their establishment make a reservation in advance we tried to eat there the day, we arrived but it was fully booked .. Staff was wonderful and directed us to some other places in the area all walkable so not a big deal at all and we made reservations for the next day FOOD IS SO GOOD!」

「Room had a beautiful view from the balcony. We were able to park right outside the room. The room was clean, spacious and nicely decorated, with a good sized bathroom. No breakfast at the hotel, but there were a few good options a 10-minute drive away in Penn Yan.」

「Found the cleanliness of the room excellent - beautiful surroundings and the restaurant staff excellent as well」

「Because it's in a deep valley, get get a rushing stream rathe than cell service, but the wi-fi is excellent, so use wi-fi calling. No TV in rooms, but available in common room or use your laptop. Price unbeatably low.」

「Room was clean and had stove, fridge, coffee pot etc. Restaurant on property and staff was very nice!」

「My family really like this hotel.」

「Our stay at Elmrock was exactly what we needed to get out of town and have many of the beautiful sites of Ulster County available nearby. The House we rented from them was beautifully kept. The Breakfasts were great ant the conversation with others made for nice mornings. ON a VERY hot July 4th Weekend the home was cool and comfortable! Would recommend the Inn highly.」

「We stayed there just one night but easily could have stayed a few days. The property was very clean, quiet and cozy. The bedrooms were very comfortable and it was especially nice that the staff had made/left food for snacks and morning breakfast. very cool place. Will definitely rent again when we go back next year.」

「This hotel is super unique and located in a very historic building. It’s incredibly decorated and has a perfect Adirondack feel. We really enjoyed our time there. The restaurant on the property has outstanding service and food.」
