"We loved our stay at The Monterey Hotel! The building has beautiful historic charm with modern comforts—clean, cozy rooms, comfortable beds, and a friendly, welcoming staff. The location is unbeatable—right in downtown Monterey, within walking distance to Fisherman’s Wharf, Cannery Row, and the Monterey Bay Aquarium. We didn’t use our car once! Morning coffee and pastries were a nice touch, and the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing. Highly recommend for couples or anyone looking to experience the heart of Monterey."

"Beautiful reception and dining areas. It's so nice and quiet. Only noise were the seagulls but thankfully, they stopped once it got dark. No problems with noise from our neighboring rooms in the Main House. Was great being able to walk to Lover's Point and Cannery Row, and nearby restaurants! "

"This was a great visit to escape Fourth of July fireworks in our neighborhood. Pacific Grove doesn’t allow those, and it was super quiet. The facility is aging and has pretty thin walls, but the guests were nice and our three day stay was quite enjoyable."
