「We wanted a peaceful and comfortable place and we found that at Deer Haven. Asilomar Beach was a close walk or drive and park. Our room was clean, bed was very comfortable, hear the ocean at night with window open and the fireplace was wonderful as the mornings had just enough chill to use and enjoy with our coffee. Also met other nice travelers outside in the common area.」

「Booked a room last minute for reasonable price. Ideally located next to Asilomar and a short, pleasant walk to the Fishwife. Make sure to check in by 8:00 pm, we almost missed it. We would have enjoyed spending more time relaxing in and around the room, but we were helping to chaperone and drive a large group of high school kids who camped at Veteran's Park. 「We stayed in the Junior Cottage for less than $200/night. It was super cute, cozy and I wish we could have stayed longer. The reviews on Expedia and Google made us question committing to this place, so we viewed the cottage before we booked it. It was just fine, as advertised. The bathroom is a little dated and not great lighting but it was clean and functioned well. The fireplace was cute but it was too warm for us to use. No AC because that’s not a thing in Cali!!
