My wife and I stayed here for 1 night. The staff was friendly and room was clean and cozy. It is a great place to explore Carmel and Big Sur! I would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful clean room with great view. The staff in the office are kind and helpful. Guided me in when I arrived at night and got a little lost. Nestled above town but easily accessible to town shops and restaurants within walking distance.

The room was 80F when I arrived after 6PM. I’m aware that air conditioning is not common in the area, but here were no fans available either. The room was hot with still air. Guest services refused any accommodation. Didn’t stay over night and forfeited $250. Do not recommend. Stay elsewhere in Carmel.

This is a lovely and charming hotel. The location is excellent and convenient, within walking distance to the downtown shops and restaurants. The room was spacious and comfortable. The breakfast was good. Overall it’s a wonderful place to stay!

Lovely option in the heart of Carmel. Special thanks to the front desk staff who provided a fan (rooms don’t have air conditioning and no screen on sliding glass door). Breakfast was good with plenty of options for all appetites (don’t leave food unattended on outdoor tables or the seagulls will eat it!). Grounds are well decorated with colorful flowers and plants. There’s a heated pool and plenty of on site parking.

We were delighted with our stay. The facility was so clean, breakfast was nice. Coffee was great! Service was exceptional! We had a little trouble with the lock on our door and they were on it immediately. One of our partoed did wish there was an extra mirror in their room other than just in the bathroom. Nice to not have to share a mirror to do makeup. There was an extra mirror on the door in our room, so it was perfect. And the balcony, oh my gosh, we spent so much time out there. The view was spectacular!

My room was super clean in a quiet neighborhood. I loved the ambience of the fireplace! The daily hot breakfast was wonderful and more than I expected .I was able to park the car in their lot and walked to all the shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again!
