「Solid place to stay. Con is no elevator, but you have to walk old San Juan anyway to enjoy this area. Nice room, rooftop lounge and smoking area, building was a monetary for 250 years (said staff). Church across street has same architecture. Drinks came with room stay; avoided cost. Grocery is down the street by a block or two. Great choice and highly walkable. 」

「My family of four just spent 2 days at the Decanter Hotel on the tail end of our 10-day Puerto Rico adventure (Rincon, Culebra, Viejo San Juan). 「This was a really cute place to spend the night before heading out on our cruise. Everything was close by and safe. The staff did warn us there were no elevators , only stairs. We were on the third floor and we packed a little more since we were doing a cruise. Boy did we get a workout. The balcony was very narrow , it was nice to look out on the street but it was noisy . If you are a light sleeper like me , select an interior room 」

「This place is a gem! They are small studio apartments but very spacious and clean! They were others staying next to us and we did not hear them at all! They also have coin operated laundry onsite and parking!
