Good location with MOKO mall next to it and a MTR station. Link bridge to Fa Yuen’s Street Market. Friendly staffs, rooms are clean too. Hotel don’t provide shower cap. Asking for nearby clinic as my son vomitted, seems like counter staff are not familiar with the areas. They don’t know where has a nearby clinic, only asking us to go hospital or call a doctor with additional charges. One of the staff also taught us go by the main road to walk to Fa Yuen Street and she is not aware that there is a link bridge that can access to it. Overall we had a pleasant stay.

Photos don’t do this place justice - resort was absolutely stunning and spotless, rooms were huge and so comfortable, and the staff couldn’t do enough to help! Another highlight was the breakfast which changed daily. We stayed for 4 nights over Christmas and were so sad to leave!

Service/staff was great. Food and dining horrible. Sky bar had ants crawling all around and if drink left long enough, was crawling on glass. Food at Breeze not worth the money. Tom yum soup tasted like sea water, no flavor. Only good part of dinner was they delivered leftovers which was most of the meal to ours room so we can just throw away. The hotel room floor had multiple stains in the room and cigarette butts on the balcony. 3 stars was solely for the service. Attendant and staff in restaurant was excellent. Was a good hotel years ago. Not worth staying again.

What can I add - it's the fabled Cathay Hotel (2.0), celebrating a bygone age with amazing staff, design, and service. Yes, it's pricey, but this is among the world's most interesting hotels and just staying there is an experience. It's beautiful and bold: more than a hotel, it's a worked example of everything travel should be. And because it's a recreation rather than the 1930s original, it's also modern and spotless, with old-school service like turn-down that just feels ... special. Hotels are usually just somewhere to sleep for me, but this one is far more. A wonderful place I'll always return to.

The hotel has a good location and the staff were consistently friendly and helpful throughout our stay. While the rooms felt a little dated and could benefit from refurbishment, the highlight was definitely the view from the top-floor bar — absolutely stunning and well worth a visit. Sky Bar Bangkok offers one of the best panoramic views of the city, especially at night.
