9.2/10 Wonderful! (2,703 reviews)
Very central hotel, close to all the major sites and across from shopping so super convenient. Hotel overall was great. The amenities were nice. The rooms and overall comfort depends on which floor you stay at. We were initially on the seventh floor and the hallway was musky and heavily scented with perfume or scented spray. The room was damp and musky even when they offered an air purifier it didn’t do much and was causing us hives. The experience made it hard to sleep. We heard others from the seventh floor complaining about how musky and damp their rooms were too. We requested to switch rooms and they didn’t have any available until second day. When we switched to eight floor on second day, the difference was immediate. No musky smell in hallway and room was nice and fresh, not damp, not perfumed, just fresh and clean. We ended up having a nice satay after that. I can’t give them a five star because they should know better than to rent out rooms that are damp musky and smell mouldy. I think they should investigate the entire seventh floor perhaps it’s a ventilation or pipe issue. But overall, had a pleasant stay later on and loved the location.

8.2/10 Very Good! (275 reviews)
It’s great as a bed but the AC doesn’t get into the cubes because there is no direct airflow. Other than that, it’s an affordable option for Singapore in a great location. And when did traveler’s etiquette fall off so much? Be quiet when you have an early departure and don’t let the door slam.

7/10 Good! (60 reviews)
We booked last minute and got a room without a window on the 5th floor which was fine. The folks coming in late at night and leaving early in the morning yelling in the hallway and letting their doors slam wasn’t very nice. We were in Singapore for an elite athlete event and good sleep was a priority for us. The staff was very nice and the room for the price was perfect!
