The room we stayed in was very clean and equipped with all the appliances we needed for our short stay. The in-room washer and dryer were especially helpful for washing our clothes after a long, sweaty day under the blazing sun. We were required to put out our garbage and used towels every morning by 11:00 AM, but I did not find this to be an issue at all. At the reception counter, you can pick up extra amenities like toothbrushes and combs, as well as instant coffee and tea bags. They also provide a water dispenser where you can refill your water bottles, and you can borrow umbrellas from the entrance on rainy days. The staff at MONday Apart Premium KYOTO Station are friendly, helpful, and speak English very well, which was a pleasant surprise. Location-wise, there is a FamilyMart nearby, and it is within walking distance of several bus stops depending on your destination. I highly recommend this hotel and would definitely stay here again on a future visit to Kyoto!
