「First of all, the check in area and hotel are in 2 separate locations!! I can’t believe that was never in any of the reviews I read. So FYI or just read the pre check in email lol. Good location and more spacious than other hotels」

「The place is too small and cramped up but clean, no towel provided, need to pay extra to use the towel, and it was not indicated that the restroom/ bathroom is shared to the other tenants but it's ok for us since we just stayed 2 days. Walkable restaurants, convenient store, and walkable Shrine nearby. Train station is far so we need to ride taxi.」

「The owner was very lovely and polite, he prep matcha tea for welcoming us also offering fresh bread making in the morning for our breakfast but my family were very tired from a long day travelling and activities we did in the area, we just want to sleep in so we had to miss out on that. House was clean. The bath was the highlight for us. Just the tap in both toilets a bit hard to operate so we had to wash our hands in the bathroom instead.」

「The area was very quiet which was nice but did mean it was a bit of a walk to the nearest shop. The check-in process was all automated and quite straightforward but be aware that the emails are sent in Japanese and I had to pop these in a translation app. The building is small but the room was a generous size. The place is slightly dated but very clean. 」

「我來京都旅遊三次，而「田屋旅館」是我目前內心排行第一名的旅館，從入口進來會通過一個竹子小徑，彷彿闖入世外桃源，田屋不管是白天還是晚上都非常安靜，對於非常怕吵的我來說，這裡真的是相當適合我，可以不受其他旅客的干擾，好好享受京都的寧靜。 另外，住宿含的早餐也非常好吃！！讓我實現了像日劇情節一般在家品嚐日式早餐的心願，真的很愜意、很享受。 老闆娘人也很好，儘管語言不是很通，但老闆娘都很有耐心的跟我講解疑問，房間也很漂亮、整理的非常乾淨。 附近也有超市、大創、UNIQLO、便利商店，很好逛～而且步行一小段路就可以搭乘50號巴士去玩。 總之，在這裡我找不到可以挑惕的地方，有機會我一定會再來玩！！」

「Everything was fine. We never met any staff; however, staffs were very prompt in responding to messages. Room was super clean. Washroom was super clean too. The room was large enough for 2 adults and 1 child. Although no staff was present, a phone number is given for emergency. I hope it works well and conversation can be made in English. The location is excellent. Overall, very satisfied.」

「Super location and quiet room with real Japanese style bed on floor. Practical for trips into town or further since bus stops are right beside the building. Locally within walking distance there are ramen restaurants also temples and the Philosophers path. Suited me perfectly as I don't spend much time in hotel I like to be out taking photos. If I visit Kyoto again I would love to stay here again.」
