"Nohga was such a nice spot to call home base for our stay in Kyoto. It is just down the street from the Kiyomizu Temple. The breakfast every morning is so worth it. All of the bread and pastries are made in house from the bakery Cicon, located in the lobby. The room was pretty spacious for a Japanese hotel room, and we loved how there was a water filtration set up in our room for drinking water. Highly recommend!"

"Hotel was in a fabulous location walking distance to everything within reason all very close to subway stations. Super friendly. There was a Starbucks 7-Eleven and Tully‘s coffee place right underneath."

"I would definitely stay here next time I visit Kyoto and I will be back. Hotel 5 Star items hotel Is very clean, the location is fantastic. Staff are polite but limited English which was not a problem. Laundry room and decent size gym. 4 star items: Onsen is relaxing but if you are expect ing a cold plunge to go with the hot bath water you will need to take a cold shower. That being said it remains open until 1 AM. Of the 4 hotels we stayed at we liked this breakfast the least, it wasn't bad just not as good as some of the other buffets. That being said their are a lot of coffee and pastry shops in the neighborhood which were a delight to try. "
