「The hotel is modern, the bed is firm, and it is clean. The water could be a little warmer, but this is not unlike many Playa hotels. It is away from the 5th and 10th avenue craziness and is quiet. 」

Only thing I’d change is I miss how the wait staff ito come down to the pool and service they don’t do that anymore and there’s not enough chairs and tables at the pool anymore but hopefully they’ll fix that. It looks like they’re working on things. Still very charming the Dive Shop is first class. Just needs a little bit of attention to the details. Hopefully when they’re done with the construction, it’ll all come together again.」

「The location was great, taking a tunnel under the main street to the beach area and snorkeling right from there. We snorkeled as far south as the ferry pier a few times, was very convenient. We borrowed the included bikes and went about 2 miles south (to the marina) and pretty far north as well. Very nice to walk 4-8 blocks to two grocery stores and the main square. You can catch a cab right in the parking lot. We took a cab most days for scuba and they were all friendly and charged the...
