Had a great stay bringing in the New Year! Rooms and property was clean and staff was very friendly and accommodating. Pool activities were fun and entertaining. Loved the location. Within walking distance of an amazing strip of shops and restaurants. Would visit again.

So many things made this stay not ideal. The welcome drink was a mocktail at an all adult, all inclusive resort. The key to the room was a key card and not a bracelet so you had to remember to bring it everywhere with you. They gave you key cards for the pool towels and you had to turn them back in everyday in order to get new towels. The food was horrible and they didn’t start serving any alcohol until 11am! Online our room stated we got an exclusive beach cabana and they didn’t accommodate that either. I will never be going back to this resort!

I was very happy with our stay! The room, along with the entire resort, was spotless. This was my first experience with all inclusive, and it was definitely fun to have access to whatever you wanted! The highlight of the trip was the outstanding service by the staff, especially the servers. Everyone was so welcoming and fun. I was so impressed by the food at Off the Hook. The poke bowl is absolutely delicious! I visited all of the restaurants and really enjoyed Zarape and Bella. Brasas was ok. The buffet was great for breakfast as they had lots of fresh fruit, yogurt, and granola. But, it's a buffet, so inherently not as good as the restaurants are. The pizza at the pool is awesome! I appreciated that the resort has reusable cups. Don't skip the beach bar. I loved sitting on the swings looking out at the ocean. There were two things that weren't ideal, but not huge issues. I had a first-floor room that overlooked the pool. The upside of this location is that I could easily get coffee in the morning and go back to my room while at the pool. The downside is that it was pretty loud, especially the evening entertainment from the lobby and early in the mornings when carts were wheeled down the hall. The evening entertainment didn't go too late, and I always travel with earplugs so it was ok. The other thing was that there wasn't a blow dryer in my room and when I asked for one I was told there weren't any extras, so a bit of a bummer. Overall I would HIGHLY recommend staying here!

El hotel está muy bonito, igual que la habitación. Todo el layout me encantó porque no hay que caminar tanto, pero en ningún momento se siente como que hay demasiada gente. 100% regresaré. Shoutout a Sebastian y Jannika que nos hicieron reír mucho y dieron un super servicio.

This is a very beautiful place, made up of some very nice and sufficient workers. Everyone did there best to assure the guest feel welcome, from David, the ladies in the spa and restaurant; very good service. The only complaint I have is the check in process, I don't think any additional charges should be access or paid until you are leaving, which prevents the miss-hap of being overcharged. Also, the transportation from the airport to the property is extremely long for a normal ride, but the driver was very prompt and on time. Maybe the cost can be nominal since you want people to travel this far again to Wyndham. I look forward to returning or checking out another property. Thanks.

Everything about this resort was amazing. From the time we checked in to the time we left! The entire resort was extremely clean and well maintained. This is one of the smallest resorts we ever stayed at, but defiantly one of the best. The food at all the restaurants was very good. We only ate at the buffet a couple of times during our stay, and it was smaller than other resorts, but food was good. The staff is amazing. Always with a smile and always willing to help or assist in any way they can, to make our stay better! We got a cabana one day of our stay, The cabana came with a bottle of alcohol of our choice or food. We opt for the food, not knowing it was a full lobster meal! It was out of this world! The sushi restaurant was also amazing. We went 4 times during our stay! This trip was for our 35-year anniversary. This resort definitely was the right choice for us! We will be back and now we want to bring out children to experience this resort. I would whole hearty recommend this resort! Thank you Wyndham Alltra Playa del Carmen for a great trip!

The front staff was negligent and did not honour my request to arrange a cake for my wife’s birthday. The room service has a charge of $10 which was not mentioned before and nobody answers the phone from front desk to room service. The bar closes at 12 am and charges you extra for certain drinks kept there as Chivas and champagne. Morning buffet is good as so does the Mexican and Italian restaurants outside. Cafe is good too but they run out of certain ice creams and drinks. Overall, property is good but they can do much better in providing service

Yes the rooms are very good. Staff is excellent. The hotel does not have a private beach. The menu is good but repetitive. I stayed for 8 days, the buffet and the desserts are the same repeated everyday. Should be changed. All the staff members are very good and deserve special appreciation.

NO LO RECOMIENDO! DONT STAY HERE!!! DISCRIMINATION!!! My family stayed at this hotel, and they told me that besides the room being expensive, they charge USD 10 every time you order room service. Also, if you don’t book activities upon arrival (when you don’t even know yet what you’re going to do), they later cost almost double. Be careful when booking because it said ocean view, but they give you a pool view, claiming it’s a partial ocean view. The full ocean view costs more. The reception staff, bellboys, and security do not seem to have good customer service toward locals. They attended to all the Americans first and left my family for last. And if you step onto the sidewalk, the guard tells you that you can’t be there because it’s “for guests only,” even though it’s a public sidewalk. Mi familia se quedó en este hotel y me comentan que aparte de que la habitación es cara, les cobran 10usd cada vez que quieren room service. Además de que si no quieres reservar algo a tu llegada (cuando ni sabes qué vas hacer), después te sale casi el doble. Tengan cuidado al reservar porque decía vista al mar y te dan vista a la alberca porque es vista parcial al mar y la que está vista al mar cuesta más. El personal de recepción, bellboys y los guardias no tienen el servicio arraigado con los nacionales, atendieron primero a todos los americanos y al último a mi familia. Y si pisas la banqueta, el guardia te dice que no puedes estar ahí, solo para huéspedes, cuando es pública.

We arrived late in the afternoon. We checked in with the concierge and before we even saw our room, he said we could upgrade for $100 a night for a better room and “there was only 1 left.” Our room did NOT have a window nor did the hallway outside our room. It was like a dungeon. We quickly upgraded in the whir of the day. Later I did go back and we indeed were supposed to have a patio. It is shown right in the picture of our room. Our upgraded room was nice but I blame the hotel and myself for getting scammed out of $400. Although our upgraded room was nice, the pullout couch was atrociously uncomfortable. It felt like we were sleeping on planks of wood. Also, because of the hurricane, the beach is almost non-existent so note that if the beach is important. Again deceiving pictures. However, the restaurants were absolutely wonderful. 5-star food, each dish prepared for the guest. Abraham at Brasas, Daniel and Hector at Bella’s, Serain at Zarapes, and Sebastian at the beach bar made our eating and drinking experience great! Fun afternoon and evening activities. We would visit again but would make we knew what we were supposed to be getting when checking in.

La comida. Debe tener más pociones . No todo el mundo come comida mexicana. Además si es un hotel todo incluido como va ha cobrar la cena del 24 y 25 de diciembre y a un precio exhorbitante 150 dólares !!!! . Nunca he estado en un hotel que haga esto . Inclusive había q pagar hasta las sillas de sol ese día. Por lo demás perfecto habitación y personal maravilloso. Limpieza impecable
