"Excellent experience"

"From check in to check out, everyone was so nice and helpful. 3rd time staying and again enjoyed my stay. Only think I would suggest is they get some sort of plastic cover or protector to add to the bottom of the shower door. A lot of water ended up on the bathroom floor near the sink. Just one small thing to look in too. Bar was accessible and convient, pool view this time was still great, will for sure stay again in future visits."

"From the outside of the property I was a little worried but our room was very clean and nice and all the staff was very friendly. Loved the outside seating as well. The location was perfect. Just a short walk to South Beach. Will definitely stay here again. "

"This time visiting the Catalina was bad! I normally stay here each and every time I go to Miami. My biggest issue this stay was they came to clean my room the day after my first night and took all the towels and wash clothes and NEVER replaced them. I kept calling and asking and they kept saying okay 15 minutes each time I called and nobody ever came. I had to go and purchase my own wash clothes for my stay. The room phone didn’t work and the tv picture kept messing up and the remote only turned the tv on and that’s it. We couldn’t change the Channel or nothing. Then they offer free breakfast for people who staying there and don’t voluntarily give you the voucher you have to go and ask for it so it’s one of those if you don’t know they not telling you. I really don’t know what happened this go around but I was very disappointed with my stay this time!!"

The property is clean and the staff’s are helpful. The rooms are tiny but again you can’t be expecting so much from a hotel that is in south beach, affordable and clean."

"Clean and paint your rooms. The view is excellent. Pool party was nice. Lobby is remodeled. The rooms have declined severely. I would pay $150 more per night for remodeled rooms. Its a shame because this hotel was a go to for us 7 years ago. "
