"The best thing is the location and nice staff. Tv and the phone in the room didn't work. The room wasnt the cleanest either, lots of stain in the bed. after we went to the beach, we asked for our room to be cleaned cause we had a bit of sand in the room; after we came back, we could still feel the sand in the floor. Pool wasnt really clean either, lots of leaves +bugs."

"The gym had the basic aerobic machines and some weight training equipment. The problem was the 30-45 minute wait times needed to check in and touse valet services. "

"We booked an inward facing room, but they were all full when we arrived. Our first room was beautiful and spacious but on the 4th floor facing Collins, which was incredibly noisy. We are traveling with kids and had to move at 10:30pm because of the noise. It would’ve probably been fine for someone who was going to be out partying until after midnight. The new room was much smaller. It didn’t feel particularly luxurious compared to the first. The bed was too soft and my back killed after 2 nights. The 3rd night was difficult. If you like a firm mattress, I would request a firm mattress topper if they have them. Zaytinia is great - love the dips/mezze and the à la carte breakfast options. The pool, hot tub and beach were nice. The kids enjoyed the poolside games as well. Service was quite good. Love the doormen who thoughtfully hand out umbrellas. The maid service was great about replacing towels, only issue was we ran out of tissues and didn’t have an extra box in the room. Overall our family gave the stay a 3.5/5."

"Totally not worth the overpriced rates. Beach chairs and umbrellas are extra fee, the spa has an extra fee. The amenities and entertainment is overcrowded since it’s open to the public so everything is crowded, expensive and not accommodating. The staff is very cold and business oriented almost feels that they are doing you a favor by staying there. I left my room before 7am and got a bill a few days later for $450 of late check out!! Didn’t received a notification of the charge or invoice just the charge on my credit card. I am still waiting for that credit! Not a good stay/experience at all!!!"

"The breakfast was subpar, and the coffee was cold. The servers were not very attentive. The room was quite small, and the coffee bar did not have the food they advertised they had."
