"Great find in North KC area. The place is quiet and the staff are awesome. We booked a 500 square foot lake-view suite with a jetted tub and a gas fire ring on our own patio/deck just outside the door. The accommodations are just a "touch of rustic", with trees surrounding the buildings and providing shade over the deck. There are several lakes in the campground area and we saw some people fishing them. The pizza shop is great with pizza and other foods freshly prepared from scratch, and ready...

"We loved seeing the facility. We were sorry that we didn't get to enjoy having a drink on the patio. We ran out of time as we had to be at a local hospital VERY early the next morning. We hope to return sometime. We did rent the same room the next night, but again we spent most of our time at the hospital. We were sorry that we had to pay a much higher amt. the 2nd night. But the 2nd night was on a Friday night. I just feel we might have been given a discounted rate. We were thankful...
