It is an older building in the heart of downtown so it’s expected to not be perfect condition…this is why I gave it 4 stars. Valet waiting on you, handed keys over and went to front desk. Check in fast. Room was excellent!!!!! TV saying welcome with my name. The bathroom was a true handicap one. Complete roll in shower. Restaurant atmosphere was perfection. Will be back!!!!!! Stay here when you’re needing a place when your downtown KC!!!

The internet and AC were great, our in-room phone did not work, and the side tables were very dusty. We also didn't have enough towels, only 2 for 2 people. Couldn't call for room service on room phone, had to use personal phone. Asked for more towels and pillows and were told we needed to come down to the desk to retrieve them. Also, couldn't find hairdryer, eventually after searching everywhere, found it inside the draw safe, so random. The room service food was pretty good, but pricey. The menu had a happy hour price which I specifically mentioned while order, but when food was delivered the bill had a $5 delivery fee which was told on phone no fee. Asked the delivery person how come we weren't charged happy hour prices, he said that was only for dine in. Wish someone would have called back to let me know this prior to processing our order.

Overall, it was a decent stay. The room itself was nice, but the hot water took nearly 20 minutes to heat up, which isn’t ideal if you value your time. The room also lacked basic furniture like a desk, so if you need to work, your only options are the couch, a lounge chair, or the bed. I asked multiple times for additional espresso pods, but housekeeping consistently left only two at a time despite the machine clearly having space for four, which felt unnecessarily cheap. To top it off, the paid parking lot next to the building lacks security cameras, and my rental car was broken into overnight—my driver’s side window was smashed. Overall, I would likely stay elsewhere next time I’m in Kansas City.

Excellent as always, clean room and bathroom, great amenities as well as location. The room was a little hot but thats to be expected when we have 70° in December. Staff was quick to accommodate with a large fan! Thank you for a great stay

Clean room- you can see they cleaned ahead of rhe stay. Carpet was super dirty and pull out couch as well. Housekeeping and front desks were super tentative. Great view of The City from our corner king suite.
