"I was in the area for a wedding so only stayed for a brief overnight. Great communication by the owners. Room was large, charming, and clean. I would definitely stay here again if I was in the area. One thing is to download directions to the hotel and how to get into your room prior to your arrival as cell service in the area is spotty. Once there, it is not a problem as they have excellent WiFi "

"We loved the history of the hotel as well as the charm. It is very convenient to all the shops and restaurants. Our room was large and comfortable. It even had a fireplace to make it cozier. It could use a little updating, but overall, a wonderful stay."

"Room very comfortable and clean; appreciated free wifi, breakfast, coffee, iron and hairdryer. But best of all, the warm welcome that Brian at the Reception Desk gave us and all the information he gave about Great Barrington, excellent recommendations on dining spots and, especially, telling us about the Clark Arts Institute in nearby Williamstown which was the highlight of our trip to The Berkshires. "The Wick is conveniently located literally across the street from the Hudson NY Amtrak rail station. My room was very nice, spacious, with comfortable bedding and lighting. Staff was very friendly and helpful. There was a problem with my stuck entry door and it was immediately addressed. Bathroom was very spacious - good water pressure and quality amenities. I had a full American breakfast in the lobby area and it was tasty. I felt safe as a solo traveler - not that the property is at the end of a cul de sac and very quiet. Would highly recommend staying here. "
