On arrival, we walked into what appeared to be someone’s very messy home. Slight smell of cigarette smoke, coats everywhere and a kitchen full of unwashed dishes, food left on the counters, and a man sitting at the kitchen table with his shirt off. Walking up to the “office” entrance from parking, we walked past an outdoor table with a meat slicing machine wrapped in plastic. We nearly didn’t stay, but needed a bed and the room seemed the cleanest part of the house and good enough for a night. Sheets were clean and room was fine, even though decorated with a folding metal chair. There was, however, AC in the bedroom on a very hot night which we were grateful for. The common bathrooms were not clean including hairballs and areas behind the sink that clearly hadn’t been wiped for some time. Left at first light and didn’t stay for breakfast.
