"A higher review would have been warranted had it not been for the lower level room window not secured. We could not lock the window. You can easily slide the glass window from outside to open it. It wasn't broken but management neglected to see that it had no lock mechanism available. We did not leave the room with our personal belongings in it. We informed the Front Desk. How long has it been this way."

"The property is gorgeous and we loved everything about it! The staff was welcoming, the room was comfortable, the lobby was cozy, and breakfast on the patio with beautiful ocean views was our favorite part. I also loved being able to walk to the beach each day. "

"Stopped for a quick overnight trip. Staff very friendly, modern-looking room and most importantly clean. Walls a little thin, but still slept well. 7-11 is across the street if you need to pick up anything. "

"I love the Stargazer Inn and Suites and will definitely return here if ever in Monterey again. It was clean as a whistle! Note that some rooms have hard floors (no carpeting) so I'm glad I brought our slippers. The indoor pool was a highlight! The pool is salt water, though the hot tub seemed to use regular chlorine. Both were well maintained with no funky smell afterward in our suits, which I greatly appreciated. All this and the price couldn't be beat. Loved it! "
