「This is a great place to stay in Portsmouth. The rooms, living spaces, and outdoor areas are all very charming. The best part is the location. It is only a short walking distance to the Portsmouth shops and restaurants.」

「I was not impressed by this property for a few reasons: cleanliness wasn't great, the bedding was rough to the touch and frayed on the side, we only had 3 bath towels for 4 people in the room, and the air conditioning was not adequate for the hot weather. 「We travel a lot for business and stay in hotels throughout the state of Maine and this hotel was by far one of the worst we have stayed at. The hotel staff was beyond unhelpful. We got into town an hour early and asked if we could check in early - they said they would charge us an additional $50 for early check in. I have never had a hotel do that. There amenities were lacking - no microwave in the room, the only tea they offered was plain lipton. Everything was the cheapest they could get away...

「Hotel is no frills and serves its main purpose. Our check-in experience was ok, room was clean, a/c worked and our bed was comfortable. Plenty of parking and close to supermarket. The front desk needs staff present at all times. Although there is a bell to ring for someone, upon check-in hours and later in evening, and following morning, no one is at the FRONT. Always have to ring bell and eventually someone appears. Neon paper signs taped up in lobby area is a bit tacky. Breakfast is very...
