「The Sailmakers House is rich with local history. It is very clean and updated. They do not have any staff at the house, but it is easy to contact someone if necessary. We enjoyed our stay!」

「Very nice place and convenient to everything in town. Not used to staying anywhere where there is basically no staff around but it wasn’t much of a problem after all. No parking was also a bit of an issue but we figured out the nearby town lot that was free and allowed 72 hour stay. We are seniors and would have paid for valet service but as I stated earlier no staff around from what i could tell. We did enjoy the room and the heated bathroom floors were nice. 「No elevators in the place so you need to carry all of your stuff up a ton of stairs. There was a huge bug in our room and the AC’s didn’t work well. The guy had to come out and help but he got it going. Need more towels than 3 for a family. Loved the washer and dryer and location, and parking available. Pull out bed needs a new mattress as it had stains! The couch needs a good steam clean. Otherwise it was cute and cozy!」

「Enjoyed a short, one night stay on site after a trip towards Boston from Bar Harbor. This was a nice stopping place, easy to get to and easy to get back to the highway in the morning...The only thing is the parking lot can be a touch difficult to find in the dark with a small sign...Any amount of daylight alleviates the issue. The room is perfect, clean and comfortable...the coffee was excellent and there was limited noise from the neighboring room. All in all, a nice, restful stop.」

「The room was very clean, decorated beautifully, and had great walkability. The bed was very comfy and had all the things you might need like kitchen and bathroom items. We wished we could stay longer!」

「Excellent hotel! Breakfast is good. They even provide light dinner for free! Room is big with kitchen! Must stay next time! Parking is an issue, but I travel with a residence friend here. It is not an issue to me.」
