「Carson at the front desk absolutely MADE our trip. My son was very excited to meet such a friendly face when we were checking in, and he asked to visit Carson many times to say hello. :-) Also, the breakfast had an incredible variety - so much to choose from. We also loved the pool and the hot tub. We will be back!」

「Pros - Great location to anything in the area. Staff was very good and the nice lady named Anna was the best time having breakfast. Cons - The room as soon as we walked in. The the smell that hit our nose was like no one has stayed in that room in a while. There was a area rug by the bed that has seen it's last days and needs to be replaced as soon as possible. Say the same thing for the mattress, hard sleeping on it. The room was small and the bathroom was the smallest one we ever stayed at...

「This was my second time staying at the Sailmakers House and I will definitely continue to come back on all my visits to Portsmouth! The building and rooms are clean, cozy and quiet. The location is absolutely perfect for enjoying everything downtown Portsmouth has to offer, food, shopping, and sightseeing. 10/10 would recommend!」
