「Beautiful room and the best view and sounds of the ocean. Great restaurant underneath. I’m an early riser but it is really noisy starting first thing on the morning. Traffic and deliveries. If you like privacy in your deck ask for the 3rd floor.」

「Across the street from a great section of the beach- staff here were fantastic. Little hiccup with the reservation through expedia, but it got sorted right out with no stress. Rooms are clean, bed was suoer comfortable, and honestly of all things the shower was a family favorite! Will absolutely book here anytime we come to York again in the future!」

「We had a wonderful stay at the Trident Inn. We needed a dog friendly hotel as we were bringing our dog and they were so hospitable. All the staff was very kind, our room was spacious and very clean. The pool is salt water and they have a bar right off the pool with delicious drinks. Very close and easy walk into town. We would definitely stay again!」

「Hotel is very well located. Near beach, shops, coffee shops, the Marginal way. Breakfast is extremely minimal- nothing fancy. Rooms are very outdated - I did not feel the sheets were cleaned properly, carpet in rooms is a huge no no for hotels. Parking is good and staff is helpful upon arrival」

「We enjoyed our one night stay. We needed an escape from our city life and took advantage of the screened in porch and riverside setting. We had a take out dinner on the picnic table by the river and the kind owner helped us light the firepit. We did have to clean off the table and chairs but understand it’s hard to maintain with all the trees and pollen. The room was immaculate and modern but retained some cool old school touches. 「AC was great! Room was reasonably clean. Appropriate parking right on site. Property generally needs some updating. Common areas a bit worn. Conveniently located right on Route 1. Be careful leaving the parking lot and turning onto route 1, the shrubs on property make it hard to see oncoming traffic.」
