「They need to get regular size pillows . The shower had 3 knobs to control the water , when I turned on the shower water still poured out of the faucet also . Be careful the water was extremely hot . Sink in bathroom had no hot water . Pool was nice . The building is not level . Air conditioning was kind of loud . Definitely needs so updates .」

The location is fantastic, right across the street from the beach and just steps from the shops and restaurants at Short Sands. 「Across the street from a great section of the beach- staff here were fantastic. Little hiccup with the reservation through expedia, but it got sorted right out with no stress. Rooms are clean, bed was suoer comfortable, and honestly of all things the shower was a family favorite! Will absolutely book here anytime we come to York again in the future!」

「We had a wonderful stay at the Trident Inn. We needed a dog friendly hotel as we were bringing our dog and they were so hospitable. All the staff was very kind, our room was spacious and very clean. The pool is salt water and they have a bar right off the pool with delicious drinks. Very close and easy walk into town. We would definitely stay again!」

「Our room, though very compact, was clean and the bed comfortable. No mirror in the bedroom area; only in the bathroom. Bathroom was clean and sufficient but very thin towels and the toilet seat was cracked/peeling. Our biggest complaint was the breakfast. Offerings were minimal and some was inedible fruit and with an hour to go in the breakfast timing there was very little left. When told about the empty servers and cold case, staff just shrugged and nothing was refilled. Very paltry and...
