Independent Haines Falls hotels

"The property and our cabin was great but the housekeeping system needs a little attention. Our cabin was not serviced during our stay. We stayed Monday-Thursday and had to go to the main house for more toilet paper, Kleenex, and towels ourselves. Id like to respectfully offer a suggestion… It would be nice if perhaps these things were put in a bag and left on our doorstep each morning or evening so that we could have fresh towels etc. As guests, we could also place used towels in bags and...

"Great place in the Catskills "

"Had to wait a long time to check in bc there was a long line. Eventually another gal came to help check people in. Room was large and nice. Carpeting is older and right outside of bathroom by bathroom sinks which is a little gross. Mattress was soft but pretty comfortable. Room was very clean. Ate at restaurant, very good food and great service. Also had drink at bar at night. Nice bartender. Continental breakfast is very good for a continental. They gave more than what I was expecting....

"If you like traditional home you will love this spot. Comfortable bed, great shower, great coffee. However the room we booked was on the 2 nd floor. With no elevator might be a challenge to those with ambulatory issues. Not sure if any available rooms on the ground level . Also parking is in a lot down a steep hill … again not for an elderly couple. Homeowners could not have been nicer and were so helpful and kind on all issues"
