"Place was very affordable but there were small indicators that cleanliness was not up to par. There were loose dark brunette hairs in the bathroom and shower that were obviously not ours, (we have blonde hair) and the security door latch was missing. The room did not match the advertised photos on the website but other than cleanliness and the door latch missing, the room was very very affordable and worked in a pinch."

"The hotel is situated in a very nice quiet part of town. The employees at check in and valet were very helpful. Room service was delicious and our view of downtown was fun at night. We never did get the corkscrew we requested for our room. Had to go buy one at a store. The decor of the entire hotel is very fun. Our shower was a little rough. Dripping and the hand held sprayer was pretty messed up. But it didn’t hinder our stay. The pool and outdoor areas were very nice. We would definitely stay...

"I haven’t stayed at that good of a hotel in a long time. This iconic hotel may be well over 120 years old but you won’t find a cooler place to stay if you are visiting the Stockyards. I love the fact they still give actual keys to your hotel room. From the valet parking to hotel check-in and the onsite H-3 Ranch restaurant, it’s so convenient to stay here and the price is cheaper than the big chain hotels!! I’ll be staying here again. "

"The grounds are beautiful. The jogging trail a beaut. The little cafe is basic but good. My only complaint is that the shower curtain does not prevent water from escaping the tub. The bathroom is a little dated. Tub with shower. I prefer a walk in shower with a wand. But the grounds and buildings are from another older era. Really it's more of an inconvenience for the clean up staff as I made a puddle of water which I contained with towels. However this was one of the quietest hotels I've ever...

"Lovely hotel…beautifully decorated lobby areas, restaurants and rooms. My room had a gorgeous view of downtown Dallas at night. Rooftop is super hip. Restaurants are delicious. Staff is very respectful and attentive. I was in town visiting my daughter and will stay again for my next visit! Cheers! "
