We could not stay in the first room given to us -- the smell was horrible, the tile floors in the bathroom and kitchen were slippery enough we almost fell. Room was dirty with stained and very outdated furniture. We had actually put our bags back in the car, with the intention of going to a different hotel. Hotel desk manager offered us another room, which we did take. It was a bit better, good enough to suffer thru the few days we were staying.
Few warnings -- the shower door bars aren't actually attached, so don't try to use them to steady yourself, the sofa with the bed looked so old, I cannot see how it could possibly be comfortable, the furniture is ripped/stained, and our bathroom ceiling did have what looked like mold in the corner.
Overall, if you need a cheaper place to stay, and can tolerate a bit of sketchiness, you'll be fine.
On the positive--the pool looked clean (we didn't use it), the staff was wonderful, parking was easy, and there are a ton of things to do in the area.
