"Friendly helpful staff member on reception checked me in and she explained everything parking breakfast local amenities etc. I stayed in room 20 in the annex which was comfortable clean & quiet ( even tho it over looked the pub courtyard) the bathroom soap dishes & toilet seat needed replacing but that was my only gripe 😁… on the whole a lovely hotel in the centre of chertsey with attentive staff and a pleasant atmosphere… I did not eat there due to working late so can’t comment on the food "

If I was going to make any kind of criticism, it would be a tiny one & it's something I've found at many hotels - the duvet covers are often larger than the duvets, so when the duvet is laid on the bed there is an untidy gathering & creasing of the underside of the duvet cover. "Such a lovely hotel, highly recommend. I was looking for accommodation whilst I attended a weekend event at Sandown race course. Traveling as a lone female I felt very comfortable with my choice, I was greeted by a friendly Irish man who was very helpful and welcoming. The room was large and very beautifully decorated.
