Bathroom Floor Easy to Get Wet

There was no shower curtain that the bathroom floor was always getting wet. Besides, the room size is small that you cannot open ONE suitcase easily.

Great property in a cool location. The staff were amazing, very friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. Rooms were small but had all the facilities we were after, comfy bed and good shower. Breakfast is well worth booking when you book your room
Would recommend the hop on / off buses combined with the riverboat tour
Hyde park did a great job for the Neil young concert

We was put in the lower ground room and there was a new bathroom, but poor workmanship and finish. When you opened the curtains, you found pallets outside your window. I did feel like we had been put in the servants rooms. The door was stiff with a narrow hallway with wardrobe as you enter the room. Carpets us you go to the room are in poor condition. Main entrance before get into reception really need a good clean and steps not suitable for people with mobility issues.

The hotel is beautiful and in a really great location. Service was great, really helpful. I booked a twin room and it was absolutely tiny. If you have more than check in luggage I think it would be difficult to store. Amenities for room were great, but seriously I have been in Tokyo (Shinjuku) hotels with larger rooms. I liked the hotel but don’t think I could stay there again unless alone

Wir haben schon viele Hotels auf der Ecke Bayswater gehabt, aber dieses hier war das beste. Die Zimmer sind schön und für Londoner Verhältnisse gar nicht mal so klein. Das Frühstück war der Wahnsinn. Noch nie haben wir in London so gut gefrühstückt. Auch das Personal war stets nett und hilfsbereit. Danke für den tollen Aufenthalt!

The location of the property was excellent, just opposite Hyde Park, however the rooms were extremely small and awkward with some steep steps from the bathroom up to the bed area which could present a problem if getting up in the night. The air conditioning was very efficient which was ideal as it was very hot when we stayed and the room was clean. For an overnight stay this hotel was adequate but I wouldn’t have wanted to stay any longer as there was limited space to hang clothes, or store toiletries in the bathroom.

There was one young lady at the desk who was very friendly. Unfortunately the one who checked me in was very curt. The staff in the dining room was quite nice and helpful. The interior of the hotel reflected a historical beauty. Within walking distance was church, shops and dining.

This hotel was underwhelming. The room was very small. Difficult to manage bags for two people. There was no shower door or curtain which meant water went everywhere in the bathroom. The beds were hard. The pillows were small and hard and after requesting extra pillows twice, none were delivered. The front desk gent was not helpful and we seemed to be an inconvenience to him. It's only redeeming qualify was the tube access with two stations very close.

Es ist mittlerweile eine Unart geworden, dass ältere heruntergekommene Hotels für Ihre viel zu kleinen Zimmer viel zu hohe Preise verlangen! Unser sogenanntes Superior-Doppelzimmer war nicht größer als eine Abstellkammer und verfügte lediglich über ein Queen-Size-Bett. Die Dusch-Abtrennung in der Badewanne war so klein, dass das Badezimmer grundsätzlich komplett nass war nach dem Duschvorgang. Im Lobby-Bereich war es für meine Frau nicht möglich, eine behindertengerechte Toilette aufzusuchen. Auf Nachfrage wollte das Rezeptionspersonal das "mit einer Wartezeit von 10 Minuten erst noch Gegenchecken". Fazit: nach London immer wieder, aber nicht mehr in dieses Hotel, welches sich "groß und königlich" schimpft.

The building of the property and interiors of reception/sitting areas are beautiful. Disappointed by just how small the rooms actually are. We had a superior and it said ‘ideal for couples’. We couldn’t walk down one side of the bed as it was too narrow and when we had to borrow an iron, it took up the main floor space in the room where we couldn’t get dressed at the same time. No seat at the table, an old TV and no black out blinds. You also couldn’t get in to use the bathroom facilities without completely shutting the door as it was that small. The tiniest shower screen for the bath/shower was there which meant the bathroom got covered in water. I expected better from this hotel.

The room was next to the exit door for staff where they congregated smoking and general chitchat, noisy and smelled of smoke from early hours of the morning. Shower was not connected to the head and squirted in the wrong direction, hotel tired and In need of refurb, breakfast food was cheap varieties . Room wasn’t ready despite it being 16.00
