「Room was clean staff was beap」

「Beautiful resort! But… it needs much improvement. If your (African American) this property will not cater to you at all. I had to call on many different occasions to clean the room or ask for towels. Some staff were semi aggressive from asking basic things. Having traveled to other countries, we’d expect vacation service, not al la carte service as everyone expected a tip for basic things. Don’t think I would take my family here again. It’s also very far from the airport. 」

「The food overall and the location were excellent. The evening events were awesome. Silver Birds hands down a blast! The Michael Jackson tribute group was cool. And the catamaran trip with snorkeling and Margaritaville was so much fun! Office of Nature down the Beach was a fun spot. Best resort trip by far!!」

「Staff freindly and accomadating」

「I’ve stayed at a RIU in Montego Bay before, so I knew paying more usually means a nicer, more “luxury” experience. That wasn’t really the case here. Palace Tropical Bay didn’t feel like an upgrade, and honestly we could’ve just stayed at Riu Negril and been just as happy, if not happier. When we went there for the White Party, it looked just as nice. The swim-up bar pool was also an issue—the filter seemed off because there was always debris floating around, which wasn’t great.
