Overall the S Hotel is a beautiful boutique property with a nice poolside that leads to a private beachfront. The food was terrific especially the jerk chicken and sauce. The staff was hospitable and we really enjoyed having Andre as our water aerobics instructor. There was, however, a disappointing experience with arranging for a special birthday room decoration for my partner’s special day. The front desk made a mix up with timing and the birthday decor package I paid for didn’t happen. I did receive my refund for it. Additionally, the hotel room itself could be a bit more functional. It was lacking a full length mirror and the bathroom had no hooks or additional room to place belongings and clothing. I would still recommend this place and will probably go for a room upgrade the next time we book.

The beach is exceptional, the rooftop pool is one of the best. The rooms are very clean and it’s an eco friendly hotel! Additionally: Love the amazing staff, they are all so friendly and helpful. I would like to especially thank Zaira and Rashai for all their assistance. The food is amazing and esp the steak and Ravioli at Italian restaurant. The location is perfect. It’s only a 20-30 walk into town or $150 Jamaican dollars (less than $2 USD) 5-10 mins to the best clubs in mobay. Starbucks is 2 mins away. And there is a bank machine right beside Starbucks with no line ups and dispenses USD as well as Jamaican $$.

If you’re looking for full relaxation as a solo traveler or a romantic getaway to rekindle or celebrate your love, this is the place! Only leave the property if you want to. Situated on the famous Doctor's Cave Beach under umbrellas sipping Red Stripe beer is how I spent the majority of my days after a quick workout in the gym, pool or power walk on the sands!

We were there Aug 20-24 2025. Everything was good, we arrived at hotel and staff greeted us with the highest respect. Andre carried bags to room and back to lobby when it was time to leave. Big up to the staff for making sure we had everything we needed. Food was good.

The hotel is perfect if what you want is peace and relaxation. The staff is super nice. The restaurants were good but the breakfast buffet could use some work. A little more variety would be great. Same options everyday. I would definitely stay here again

The property is a hotel, not a resort, despite advertising itself as having an all-inclusive option. While they technically offer all-inclusive packages, it’s limited to rail liquor and the same repetitive food every day. The buffet is small, lacks variety, and doesn't include standard resort-style features like live cooking stations or themed meals. One major issue is staffing during meals. The staff eats at the same time as the guests, which means there’s a period of 20–30 minutes where no one is available to assist with anything. While I appreciate that the staff is well-fed, the lack of service during this time is unacceptable in a hospitality setting. Cleanliness around the pool area was disappointing. The pool cushions were dirty throughout our stay, with stained red fabric in poor condition — very unappealing. On a positive note, the rooms were spacious and clean, which is one of the very few highlights of the stay. There is only one restaurant, and it does not operate in an all-inclusive fashion. When we tried to order from the menu, we were told items were unavailable due to being "out of food" — something that should never happen at a resort or even a basic hotel. The only reason this hotel gets a 2/10 is because of the barista at the café and Andre, who truly went above and beyond. Andre seemed to wear multiple hats and did an incredible job entertaining and helping guests — a true asset to the hotel. I would not recommend this hotel unless you leave daily.

If you're looking for a relaxing and quiet vacation in a luxurious setting with amazing views of the beach, this is it. If you're looking for a party resort, this is not it, it's very tranquil. Loved everything from the staff, service, cleanliness, food, decor, it was all amazing. Only thing I would add is even through it's listed as a family resort, it really is not, it is an adult-geared resort. I saw maybe 5 kids in total for the 7 days I was there. There are no kid/family activities on the resort (other than going to the beach). I think the resort should be adult-only. I will definitely visit the resort again.

The property and the staff were excellent!!!! My only complaint was that the food wasn’t that good but everything else was superb. It was located very close to the airport, there were resort activities to keep you engaged, the beach was beautiful and the room was very spacious and clean. I found this hotel on TikTok and it did not disappoint!!!

Small property definitely boutique sized. Rooms Outdated and needs upgrades, and deep cleaning on walls & behind doors. Room had no “ready to drink” liquor like other inclusive resorts so be sure to get a bottle for your room from the airport upon your arrival to Jamaica (way cheaper than the stores in town) The S Hotel is not made to host events and large groups in which over crowds the small poolside bar/grille. The jerk chicken and fish was the best thing on-site, the daily buffet was good too! Enjoyed the nightly live band and daily entertainment. Be sure to make dinner reservations as they fill up fast! Loved the hotel grounds and white sand beach would definitely stay again.

We stayed for 5 nights and 6 days and S Hotel doesn't owe us NOTHING! This hotel exceeded all of our expectations. I am a germaphobe and wipe any room I stay in down with Clorox. I don't have any expectations floors are clean but there was a spot on the floor and I wiped it with my wipes and the floors were clean. I could not believe it so for me, that was a win. The staff was superb! The breakfast and lunch was Chef's kiss daily. The eggs were soft scrambled with real eggs and everything was fresh. Even if you are picky there was something for you. We were very comfortable with spending the day at the resort and not ever leaving. It was nice and quaint and the waitstaff needs to be the example of exemplary customer service. The vibe was so mild I never felt any negative tolls. This was our first time in Montego Bay and this is where we will always stay for our future returns. If there are any negative reviews, don't believe them because that was their personal issue. Call us we will tell you they lied.

Loved my stay at the S Hotel, the location is chef's kiss. Youre in the middle of everything, you have access to the beach, you can walk to Lounge 27/27, Pier 1, and Margaritaville. There are a few restaurant options on the property. You have make reservations in advance. The staff was amazing, security was great. If you are interested in excursions, there's an activity/excursion deak. There are pool side activities everyday i.e. water aerobic and other nightly events in the lobby. Also, food options and unlimited drink selections available. My only criticism with this hotel is the outside. A face lift, and a few updates would help increase the aesthetic of the hotel.
