Travellers Beach Resort is right on the beach with an excellent chef and bar staff and very friendly crew. My partner and I had a super relaxing time for our five night stay. Our only criticisms are with inconsistent housekeeping. Our bed was not always fully made, bathroom toiletries never restocked (one small shower gel, shampoo and conditioner doesn’t get far between two people over five nights) and coffee cups left dirty. There was also no duvet cover. It didn’t ruin our stay by any means nor make us not recommend the place, just small things that can be improved. Oh and if you like cats, there’s at least five that live here!

The restaurant and ocean were steps away;the food was delicious! The staff friendly, accommodating and efficient. It's my 3rd year visiting and it truly is a home away from home .

The fact that this is a Jamaican owned property but prices were all in US dollars made us feel like Americans were more valued. The grounds are well kept, pool area was nice. Staff seemed happy enough. My husband could not get a coffe at the restaurant after breakfast was over. Having to give cards for towels at the beach was silly and if you lost the cards you have to pay $20 USD to replace the card was ridiculous. The rooms were very outdated and overpriced, beds are very hard. Honestly I would not stay here again.

Cottage room was lovely and clean. Although at one end of the beach we walked daily to experience all 7 mile beach has to offer. Food and drink was reasonably priced however food service quite slow. Would recommend for couples or families wanting a break from All Inc hell!!

We just recently stayed at Travellers for 7 nights. I was so looking forward to staying at this hotel for a few reasons. i loved the idea of it being locally owned and the size of the property. Unfortunately I do not think I would return. Lets start at the beginning. Front desk staff were great at both check in and check out. I only used them for assistance one other time during my stay to enquire about transportation and they were great then as well. The driver that we used from the hotel - Kenneth (Kenny) was also fantastic. He drove us to the Rockhouse for lunch and picked us up at Josephs cave when we were ready. He was great!! Housekeeping staff were also a great bunch of people, always quick with a smile and hello. The property is kept very clean and I think they would have cleaned our room everyday if we had not told them it was not necessary. I have nothing but good things to say about them. Now lets move on to the restaurant and bar staff. The first morning we went to the restaurant to eat was shorlty after breakfast rush. Most of the tables on the main deck were still occupied or dirty. (Before my current job i was in the service industry for over 20 years in all sorts of capacities and establisments from a 5 star resort in the rockies to a locally owned mom and pop hot spot in my home town. So I am aware of of what it takes to be a server.) We stood at the entrance to patio and waited for someone to acknowledge us but that did not happen. So i did what i know we ar

Very cute & clean rooms. Nice variety in gift shop. Perfect location on 7 mile beach. Excellent bartender & very reasonable drink selections. Lots of delicious selections to choose from on breakfast, lunch & dinner menues. Lunch menu is served til 5pm! Fine dinning for dinner!

We travelled with 5 in our party for a total of 3 rooms and met our friends there. The property is pristine and the staff are all AMAZING. The food and beverages were all delicious. The staff sets this place a part, very accommodating and friendly! I love the "Welcome Home" because it truly feels like a family at Travellers. The property gives back to the community in big ways and nyou can tell that the staff truly love their jobs and feel valued by management!

We loved it. The staff were amazing, The food of the hotel restaurant was amazing as well. The beach was literally right there. Everybody was very serviceable. We got the shuttle from the hotel and then just communicated with the driver the rest of the trip for them to get us to and from any where. we had an amazing time. We can’t wait to go back.

Check in was easy just after 3 PM, the room was ready, and the ladies at the desk were very pleasant and helpful. The room was a bit disappointing (we had a "superior" room). Definitely in need of renovation. Very Clean bur very small. Beds comfortable. A/C worked well. Bathroom very small with slow drain of sink. Clean but old. As other reviews have noted water pressure not great and water was lukewarm instead of hot. Best to try to shower at odd times. Doors to the bathroom were old and could not be shut tight. Towels were thick and soft. Shampoo, soap, and conditioner provided. Coffee maker but no microwave. Grounds were immaculate, well kept, with lots of tropical vegetation. Pool was small but we did not use it at all. Onsite restaurant was good and we ate all of our meals there for our 4 day stay. Food was generally tasty and portions were generous. Drinks were good. Service could be rather slow. Shout out to servers Stephan and Rodgers who were there for dinner. They were friendly and efficient. Prices for food and drink were reasonable. Beach is VERY shallow waters edge to building structure. Sand is kept clean. Plenty of lounge chairs but since the beach is small u r right on top of other guests. Note: guests came down very early and "reserved" chairs so we got there around 8:30 AM. Beach attendant worked really hard so please tip him. Staff at the hotel were VERY friendly and polite always asking if we needed anything. Overall good experience.
