「We have never stayed in Townsend before during all of our stays to the Smokies. I loved being away from the hustle of crowds. The Parkman was the first place I googled for Townsend area. They allowed my pet which was a must. The room and property were both clean. The staff were polite. It was just me and the hubby for our 10 year anniversary, so the room given was perfect. I highly recommend this place to anyone wanting to stay in Townsend.」

「Overall, my stay was average. The hotel is in a quiet location and conveniently close to everything, which was a big plus. However, the bed sheets had some noticeable stains, which was disappointing and made the room feel less clean. The air conditioning was also set to turn on and off throughout the night, causing the room to become warm and uncomfortable while sleeping. The front desk staff were not very friendly and came across as having an unfriendly attitude, which affected the overall...

「The staff were ok, the price was ok, but the hotel is runned down, ceiling leaked in the room they put us in, the clerk put us in another room. The carpet was very dirty and made the room smell bad. The beds were terrible, the sheets on the beds were stained with I dont know what ! Everywhere you looked you saw that repairs were needed. The Hotel itsself needs remodeling badly. The advertised Hotel photos I saw at booking was very different looking as to what I saw when I arrived at the hotel....

「The hotel staff was helpful. The breakfast was actually good. The room could definitely use an upgrade. The showerhead looked like it had Styrofoam cup stuff in it to hold it together somehow. And I’m pretty sure there was black mold on the showerhead. The toilet paper holder was broken. There were no lightbulbs in some of the lamps and the extra door latch was broken. But hey, it was pretty cheap.」

「This is a true bed & breakfast and it is magical. Set in the forest, with a mountain in the background, lovely lighting outside at night. We really loved the setting. Unfortunately, our bathroom and kitchenette needed cleaning, and that was a disappointment in such a great place.」

「Picturesque little valley campsite, right by the Great Smoky Mountains National Park (and Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge tourist options). Clean and cozy tent cabins, wonderful staff that were very friendly and welcoming. We had a great time, it was the perfect home base to explore the Smokies and get outdoors and unplug.」
