We stopped at the Smokey Mountains for a day of hiking on our way to a Knoxville music festival. This hotel was a delight, we were placed in a “scenic” room, it was in a separate building, behind the one that faces the highway. We had our private balcony on the upper level of a 2 story building, facing the mountains with a set of rocking chairs. It was quiet and wonderful to keep this door open and let the breeze flow into the room. We highly recommend this motel.

We stayed in a King Suite room with balcony. I would rate this place a 10/10 except for the mattress. The bed was so uncomfortable that we ended up sleeping on the pull out bed. -was clean-staff was friendly-very quite-nice balcony with rocking chairs-easy check in/out. Spoke to the housekeeper and learned they are renovating the lower rooms soon and they have better mattresses, so we will stay here again.

Clean rooms, safe environment, 15 minutes from the entrance to Caves Code. Only improvement I'd suggest would be that they have coffee in the lobby but there's a Shell station/grocery store a mile away that fixed that problem for us.
