This is not a town where reasonable lodging can be found, so I appreciate that there are places you can stay that are clean, safe, and you still have money to spend on shopping and eating out."

"The staff is excellent - friendly, welcoming and helpful. The hotel is a very short drive or bike ride to downtown Truckee/ They also have a few bikes you can borrow for a leisurely ride along a bike trail not too far from the hotel."

"Quiet in summertime..next time we will ask for a room in the back to avoid pool noise however. Good restaurants in area (a few)- amazed that people left trash near the pool area- and wasn't picked up in the morning."
