The room was clean, and staffs were courteous. Breakfast was awesome. The location is near ski resorts! I wish the hot water were warmer and the sound insulation is thicker to blockout the highway noise.

Place is OK. Stayed here twice for skiing. Beds are comfortable but that's where it ends. The acoustics are horrible. Can hear everything from the hallway like kids getting up and running around at 6am. The heater is on the loud side. Staff is friendly enough. Included Breakfast is gross microwaved gas station food. No seriously. That's what it is. You have to microwave it yourself.

Room was dusty, Room carpet has not been vacuumed/cleaned near walls. Heater/air conditioning unit coming away from wall. Area above the unit was disturbingly stained and dirty. One lamp shade was broken & off kilter. Toilet paper holder was broken and at a slant. When we tried to check in at 5pm, there was a sign stating someone would return in 15-20 minutes. No one available to talk to on the phone to find out exactly when someone would return. Hall carpet was dirty. Bedding and drawers were clean. Bathroom was reasonably clean.

We come for a night to spend the weekend skiing. The staff is amazing, they are kind and helpful. Breakfast is perfect for a boost of energy before skiing, and they are constantly refilling on everything (despite very hungry skiers). Rooms are clean and comfortable for the night. We will continue to come.

The front desk clerk pulled up the wrong reservation, claimed we had booked two nights (we only booked one), charged us for the second night, reversed herself to say that we only had one night after all, then refused to give us a refund.

The value for the price did not match. Room was very cold when I arrived, even though I informed them what time I would be checking in. There was air refresher in the room to cover the odor. Breakfast included did not have too many choices either. Little let down if you ask me.

The inn at Truckee was a great place to stay for our snowboarding trip. Location was close to the slopes and parking was free. The room was clean and comfortable though it was a chore getting to the third floor with no elevator. It did give us the opportunity to admire the view from the picture windows looking out from the stairs. There was a solid grab and go breakfast each morning which we appreciated and there was a nice coffee machine with lots of options unfortunately it was out of order more often than not apparently due to cleaning and restocking. I would stay here again but I would request a first floor room.

Great place to stay. I'm not into fancy or boujee hotels, so when i give this place 5 stars, i'm not talking about a $1000 a night gold plated Hilton hotel room. I'm going to be using the room to sleep in, and chill after a day of adventuring. This hotel checks all the boxes for that. Good location right off the 80 in west Truckee. Easy parking. Comfy beds. Mini fridge and microwave. Continental breakfast with muffins, oatmeal, breakfast sandwiches or burritos. Some fruit, coffee, cocoa. Staff is cool af. There are some good food options in walking distance. Safeway, old Truckee, and such are a few minute drive. For what i'm after, this is a great hotel.
