"This was a great little find on our Drive south from Lake Tahoe towards Yosemite. Very new facility so the quality and finish of all of the rooms was great."

"It is an historical site and the surrounding area is very interesting. An old historical mining town with a lot of history. The hotel was a super spot to stay and supposedly haunted. Well they were just as nice as the staff was."

"The Foothills Motel was very adequate for our needs. We were in Auburn for a family wedding and only needed a convenient place as a "home base". A very nice family diner, Sweet Peas, is just a block away and became our breakfast and lunch spot. We were pleased to find that there was a small fridge and microwave in both rooms. My mother had one of the few ADA rooms which was very comfortable for her. The only suggestions for improvement are the addition of a chair, especially in the larger room,...
