Sparkling clean! Foothill is adorable. The bowling alley should not be missed. When they shut down the freeway for a day there's no where I'd rather be stuck!

We booked this place very last minute. It's small for 4 people but we really just needed a place to sleep. Reasonable price, we checked in late and it seems privately own because the reception was closed and had a ring doorbell to get assistance. The gentleman seemed to had already gone to sleep which I felt bad waking up, but he was very nice and kind and helped us check-in. Would stay here again!

The Foothills is the perfect place to stay in Auburn. It's quiet (no loud neighbors above you) and well located. It has more charm than the chain hotels and the price is just right. I love the retro charm and in room amenities. We will be back again and again.
