「excellent little cabins and friendly curtious staff」

「Great place! Just as advertised! Quaint cabin with amazing ranch campus! We got to check out the larger house too! Would stay her again in a second! Perfect base for the local wineries and Placerville restaurants. 」

「Parking was great - right outside our room. The check-in process was quick and easy and friendly. The decor in the room is a little tired, there was no ice in the ice machine and we couldn’t get any water from the bathroom taps but the bed was comfortable and we had a good nights sleep.」

「It was passable, but don't set your expectations very high. The carpet didnt lay flat, and the flooring by the tub curling up. It's seen better days. The breakfast is only a prepackaged Svenhard's Danish. No prepared coffee with breakfast so you have to make it yourself in the room with the small machine. Next time we go wine tasting in the area we'll be looking for something a little better.」

「The manager is extremely courtous and helpful. We had a situation while staying there and the manager aggressively attended to the situation and resolved it beyond our satisfaction.」

「Management was intrusive and knocked on our door loudly asking to come in and look for a lost key from the previous tenant. That should have been handled before we were given the room. After a long drive, this was the last thing we wanted to deal with. I let it slide because I was exhausted, but the experience was unacceptable. I wouldn’t recommend staying here — look elsewhere」

「I have stayed at this hotel before and had a good experience, which is why I was surprised by the condition of my room during this stay. While the property is relatively new, the room did not appear to have been properly cleaned before my arrival. There was a dirty towel left in the room, stains on the sheets, chips on the floor, and the toilet was not clean. 「We liked the historic atmosphere. The elevator was very intriguing. Staff were helpful and the bed was comfortable.」

「The property was amazing! The only issue we had was with the door pad code. The one I received in my information e-mail was incorrect, but Lynette was quick to answer my phone call and tell me the correct code. In all honesty the correct code made more sense and I should have questioned the e-mail as soon as I got it. Before we left, we were already thinking of wht other events in the area may be coming up that we could stay there again.」

「It is definitely an older property, it looks like they are starting to do some sort of remodel but could not tell what was going to be remodeled or how much. Very dated but very nice staff.」
