「The Foothills Motel was very adequate for our needs. We were in Auburn for a family wedding and only needed a convenient place as a "home base". A very nice family diner, Sweet Peas, is just a block away and became our breakfast and lunch spot. We were pleased to find that there was a small fridge and microwave in both rooms. My mother had one of the few ADA rooms which was very comfortable for her. The only suggestions for improvement are the addition of a chair, especially in the larger room,...

「The American River Inn is a cute old hotel located in Georgetown, CA. Established in 1853 if definitely has CA Gold Rush credentials. I loved the place and just generally love this sort of walk back in time cute and classy hotel. The staff was very helpful and friendly and the atmosphere charming. If you are going to stay in the CA Gold Country do things right and stay at the American River Inn in the heart of historic Georgetown.」
