"The hotel was very clean and comfortable. However, the bathtubs need slip guards. My wife and i are 68 and she has a bad knee. The free breakfast was a total let down. The powdered eggs were barely warm, the sausage was bland and tasreless. Got a biscuit and some gravy. Thought there was sausage in it but was just clumps of undone powdered mix. Horrible breakfast, we went out and bought breakfast at a local restaurant, defeating what was advertised on website as a free breakfast. "

"It’s been a long time since I’ve stayed at such a wonderful place that I wanted to write a review. We usually stay at the large chains, which has really become miserable anymore. They don’t make up the room. The desk is rude, blah blah blah. Not only were we greeted with respect by a very nice lady. We had just come to inquire about a couple things and we were very very early and she just went ahead and checked us in the room was very clean. Not only was the place very nice. They actually made up the bed every day, which is not something that has happened since Covid. If we ever return to Gatlinburg will absolutely stay at the Gillette. I give it 100 stars if I could."

"Rooms were pretty clean and the free breakfast was a plus. The bathrooms were a little worn. The location was perfect, right next to everything in Gatlingburg."

"The property was beautiful. We saw a few bears in the area and on the resort. The staff was very helpful. Besides the pet hair in my room that made my son sick everything else was great."

"Motel room was great. We did have one issue. Because of flight delays, we were unable to make it to the motel for our first night. Neither we nor our travel agent was unable to contact the motel in spite of multiple attempts. Fortunately our room was held until we arrived the second night."
