The website didn't clearly explain the positioning of the rooms. The desk clerk was extremely rude and assumed that we should know that you have to cross the creek, ride the elevator and circle around the building to get in. Once in the room the outside door to the balcony didn't close properly and we were grateful it wasn't raining. The amenities and access to the rooms had no consideration for older guests or handicapped persons. I wouldn't recommend this property to anyone

This pace is old and lots of broken items. We had to walk a large distance to the bkfst room. 1/4 MI because the elevator was broken. The bathroom light flashed like a strobe when you turned it on. So live with rhe strobe or use it in the dark. Patios need lots of cleanup as do the grounds.

Just don't. This place has run down so much. We stayed here for nostalgia reasons but never again. Everything is so run down. Water stains all over the room. Piece of metal sticking up near fireplace causing a trip hazard. Fireplace didn't work. Elevators don't work. Just demolish it.

The national park was probably 15 or 20 minutes out depending on which area of the park you’d want to explore. My biggest issue with this property was the cold floors that was due to the doors not sealing properly , you could feel the cold draft

First room, phone didn't work. No remote for tv, when we got one it didn't work. Toilet was leaking all over the floor. Had to go to a new room. Key card wouldn't open door to get into hotel. Luckily staff personnel was there and let us in. Someone was supposed to bring us a new key card. Waited an hour, never showed. We had to go to the office to get it. Didn’t like climbing the steep hill where our room was. We like to leave the car parked and walk the town. The climb up was incredibly steep. We are 69 and 70 years old, good shape but it kicked our butt. Would we stay there again, no.

Right in the heart of Gatlinburg you don't have to pay for parking! The room was clean and nice but it desperately needs updated. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a problem with our toilet it backed up and they moved us to a new room that was a little bigger and nicer than what we originally in and we stayed in it for the remainder of our stay at no additional charge. I would stay there again.

Some of the reviews had me worried but honestly for the price we paid I was fairly impressed. It was my husband my 4 year old and 2 year old and I who all stayed and I didn’t feel unsafe. It wasn’t really dirty. There was a little weird smell when we came in but nothing major it might have just been the heat cuz it was just turned on. Breakfast was good.

Room was not the one booked, once I spoke with the office staff and Expedia agent, they refused to refund or change my room to the one I booked with. Room was dirty, moldy, and horrible insulation.

DIRTY!! DUMP!! My kids couldn’t even sit in the floor to play with out getting BLACK all over their clothes. Had to wash our feet off from walking inside the room so we could get in the bed. Floors were nasty!! The shower had mold and didn’t drain well, popcorn ceiling coming off. Door wasn’t sealed good. Pets were allowed and I should have read that detail better. Dogs barked as we walked by a room and scared. DONT DO IT!

The 1st room wasn't as advertised which wouldn't have been a big deal but the door basically didn't work to get in the 1st time it took a few minutes but I thought it was just a newly programmed key card so we got in loaded out stuff into the room left to grab sometime from the store came back and it took even more tries to get into the room like close to 5 minutes the person I was with stayed in the room then in the cold i walked to the office. The lady at the front desk seemed annoyed but gave me new key cards I went back to the room and it still had the same problem went back to the front desk told her she said just pull up and not down it will work fine. I then recorded myself trying to get into the room and showed that up or down didnt matter the door didn't want to open at that point she said well I guess I'll have to change you room she then changed us to a room that was like the one that was advertised but then we woke up to no hot water at all. The shower had cold water, the hot tub, and both sinks all ice cold water. When we checked out the guy at the desk asked how was the stay and I told him all of this and he seemed shocked wrote sometime down in a notebook and said "well sorry about that"

The room was very unclean! when we told them the room needed cleaning they said no one could clean it and we had to take a broom and sweep it ourselves. The shower leaked and water ran into the floor, there was no soap nor a place to place any soap in the shower and The bath tissue holder was broken off the wall. The breakfast was undesirable because items were stale and old. Also. We had to pay extra fee for pets that was not disclosed online when I booked and paid. We will definitely not be returning there to stay again

We had a great stay overall! The room was clean and well kept. The Expedia description wasn’t totally accurate, but the front desk handled it so well. She quickly moved us to the room we originally thought we booked and made the whole situation easy and stress-free. The “mountain view” wasn’t much of a view, but honestly, it’s Tennessee and we weren’t too worried about it. We ended up in a jacuzzi room and were really happy with it! Toiletries and towels were provided and clean, and everything felt stocked and ready for us. The staff was over-the-top friendly and super accommodating the entire time. We really appreciated how helpful everyone was. Would definitely stay again!

The place isn't perfect but it's exactly what you pay for with a beautiful property, friendly staff and a great location right on the strip. Easy parking. By biggest gripe is that they end breakfast too early. Lol
