"Lovely hotel, only thing that let it down was the very squeaky floor boards which meant I was woke up quite a few times during the night and then at 5.30am when someone wasn’t too considerate and was banging about in the hallway. Did also have someone late at night chapping my door and running away. Let it down a bit unfortunately "

"Very clean, lots of hot water & value for money. Some kind of hook needed in bathroom for clothes or dressing gown. Noisy at front of hotel that overlooks a busy A road when windows are open at night. Quiet once windows were closed. "

"This hotel is in a very nice area of Newcastl plenty of very good restaurants well within walking distance. "

"Stayed for 2 nights and could not fault the room and the breakfast was really good. However we decided to order a snack from the menu one evening. I ordered a sandwich, the menu stated fresh bloomer bread, brown or white, tuna, spring onion, mayonnaise and black pepper. When I received this it was 2 thin slices of 50/50 bread, no spring onion and the thinnest filling of tuna, more like spread. The charge for this was £8.00!! Definitely not worth the cost."

"The hotel is quite dated which adds a lot of character to the property. The general areas are relatively clean but the room we were booked in has seen better days. There were some cobwebs near the windows and the floor was a bit dusty. We arrived almost midnight and quite tired so didn’t really do a complete check of the room.
