"This was a great place to spend our last night of travel.Train was accessible to go back into Newcastle for one last evening at the pub with family. We were a one minute walk to airport and rooms were comfortable. We had asked for early check in which wasn’t ready but one room was ready and we stowed all luggage in that room . "We have just returned from 1 night stay at Royal station hotel ,. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday. On arrival we were checked in smoothly although our room was not ready the girl at reception was very helpful stating we could leave luggage . We were given an upgraded room which was beautiful. We both prefer the old buildings with a little character. Breakfast next morning was lovely, self service , food was hot and tasty. We have stayed here many times when we visit Newcastle and will definitely be returning very soon. "
