This has always been a good stay for us and we have rarely been disappointed.
However, on this visit, (A birthday trip for our daughter and her partner)we were provided with the wrong room, despite having been given assurance that notes had been placed on our reservation to avoid this.
What is more disappointing is that this was followed up with correspondence to the hotel, during the visit, to provide a soution for the guests (at personal, not hotel expense,) we have still not received any response, despite the fact the visit ended two days ago.
I sincerely hope this isn't a change in standards for this normally reliable venue, but I would recommend that guests follow up enquiries when things vary from the norm, or changes are required, because communication and follow up have proven to be an issue here.
