I didn’t expect much from a capsule hotel, but it was much better than I thought! The air conditioning was perfectly cool, and each capsule had its own mirror. When you pull down the curtain, it gets completely dark — I couldn’t even tell it was morning when I woke up. Breakfast was great — they had boiled eggs, omelets you can cook yourself, toast with kaya, and what looked like yakisoba (though I didn’t try it). There were also cereals, milk, tea, coffee, and free drinking water refills. Overall, it was a really good stay. They provided towels, soap, shampoo, a hairdryer, toothbrushes, and toothpaste. The location is also convenient, close to several train lines.

Pretty close to MRT and bus stop, dining like street hawker (maxwell center). I can’t start the TV. No outlet in the pod so you have to charge out in a communal hall or use the TV outlet.

Hard to believe but the skin of these wontons is actually made from pork that has been pounded until it’s paper thin. The texture is very unique and like nothing I’ve come across anywhere else in the world. Given the amount of craftsmanship that goes into this it’s surprising how inexpensive it is. Putien is a chain that has earned a Michelin star and it’s well deserved. #GoodEats
