"Ratings were relative to others at a similar price. This is an older property that likely was rebranded as la Quinta. It is in a dense area of NJ so not easy to walk nearby. The parking adjoins a gas station so easy to fuel up. It's clean, has typical breakfast options except no oatmeal, no significant road noises in the room, third floor not facing the major road. Two happy surprises: typical HVAC under the window was actually pretty quiet. And the indoor pool was relatively large. I'll come...

"I only have two complaints. Number one was finding someone's used Oral-B toothpick on the floor next to the bed and number two, there was no continental breakfast. I was pretty bummed out."
