「It was a huge disappointment. We stayed next to the main building. Guest room was old, dirty, dingy with large stains on the faded pink wall to wall carpet. All furniture was a mix of old Ikea furniture and the rest a mix of poor furniture from the 70s and 80s. Not charming, just dingy, very dirty and in a poor condition. The couch was stained and scratched up. We will never come back.」

「Breakfast options are limited but are good. Property is in a nice location to access downtown. Free use of bikes.」

「The staff was good, it has kitchen, living room and bed room. However, it smell bad inside, no screen on bedroom window, the hot tub was not working, either too hot or fully cold, no water if set in the middle. Every furniture is pretty old. Will never stay 2nd time.」

「We had visited Whitney's Inn before and were aware it is currently transitioning to new ownership, which apparently aspires to revitalize the whole ski resort community. So we had reasonable expectations going into this. The property has certainly seen better days - our bedframe was literally caving in! But staff were friendly and willing to help make things right. We are midweek travelers so the place wasn't too busy. The adjoining Shovel Handle Pub is now open midweek so we were able to try it...

「This is the cutest little Inn. The owners are a sweet little family. Breakfast is out of this world! The Village Tavern in the basement has a Cheers feel with awesome staff and great food! 100 percent recommend! This is more than a stay, it’s an experience!」
