「The place was suitable and clean. It is dated but the beds were comfortable and the pub next door was good. We liked the close proximity to downtown St. John’s. Our main complaint was the incredibly loud air conditioning unit right beside the bed. It rumbled, roared and delivered a high pitch in cycles. My second night was one without sleep. Even my hard of hearing husband found it loud. With no option to open the window for fresh air, we were hooped if we didn’t want a warm and muggy sleep.」

「It was okay for the price I paid, but I had to park down the block in a paid parking lot. Room was clean enough, but there was loud music from the bars downstairs and Nextdoor, so I did not get any rest. The windows are old, so not sealed properly which also let the noise in. The stairs up to check in and halfway smelled like urine. The bathroom situation was a little different as well. Yes, you share the restroom with your floor, but there is only one toilet in one room and the shower and sink...

「The property did not disappoint. The restaurant on site was excellent. Good food, service and view. Our room was a little outdated but it's a building that they are going to renovate soon. The balcony from our room also had a nice view of the Muskoka river. For the price I would highly recommend this Inn. The staff were excellent.」
