「I would have to say everything! It was walking distance from parks, stores and bars. The room was neat and clean. The staff were amazing, they were very welcoming and always helping with anything in need. I am looking forward to coming back! Also the food was Delicious. 10/10」

「I almost never write any reviews but the night we stayed here was not satisfied at all. I chose this one because the great review even with the higher price , I decided to give it a try. The unit is not as clean, including the bathroom counter had stains on it. Pillow case has stain on it I had to call for a replacement. Mattress is way too soft. Free wine is nice but with the price we paid, didn’t seem to worth it. Also it was so loud as the the wall way too thin, I can hear next door...

「I really enjoyed my stay. I love historic properties, and this one has retained all its character and charm. The air was scented with Linden trees, there is an old oak with a 7-8 foot caliper, a restaurant, and live music in the Carriage house. Plus a wonderful plant nursery next door. It’s been awhile since my overall experience was so good that I wasn’t interested in nitpicking!」

「The Mountain House is unique. It is truly an old house that has been modified to include rooms and a restaurant. There are about 8-10 rooms in the Main House where we stayed. There is a separate building called the Bunkhouse out back. The room was clean but very small and tight. More so that I thought was possible but we got used to it. The air conditioner and TV worked well but the window shades were hard to operate. Our room had a queen-sized bed and it was nice. The biggest challenge was that...

「1661 is a great hotel. It is the kind of place that is homey and calm, an escape from the fast past that can be at block. The staff is caring and very professional. The inn keeper makes each stay personable and welcoming. We have stayed here before and we will again!」
