Calistoga Inn is a great option for a one-night stay in the heart of Calistoga. The hotel has a lot of historic charm, and our room was very clean with a comfortable bed. Since the rooms have shared bathrooms, having a sink in the room was especially convenient and made the setup much more comfortable than expected. The shared bathrooms were also better than anticipated—each men’s and women’s bathroom had two toilet stalls and two showers, and there was always plenty of availability, so we never had to wait. The showers were stocked with towels and shampoo, which made the shared setup even more convenient. Our room windows faced the restaurant patio and sat right above the kitchen, so it was definitely on the noisy side between kitchen staff conversations and the hum of the AC unit. That said, it was also fun to hear the live music in the evening, which added to the lively atmosphere. The hotel thoughtfully provided earplugs, which made sleeping easy and solved the noise issue. A nice bonus in the morning was coffee and tea available in the lobby, along with delicious freshly baked chocolate chip scones. Parking is street-only, but we had no trouble finding a spot on the side streets behind the hotel.

Great location, but the room itself lacks most common amenities in a hotel room. I knew there was a shared bathroom where I did not know is is that there are no curtains on the window to block out the right Party lights that stay on all night long. I would suggest that the property invest in some Blackhawk curtains for each room that would be very helpful.
This is at 12 o’clock at night.

Becky who checked us in was very nice, we were a bit nervous because we never stayed in a hotel with no bathrooms in the room but the room was updated nicely and the bathrooms down the hall were super clean and nice. We listened to live music, ate at the restaurant "it was delicious" and Luis on of the hospitality staff was also so accommodating. We will be back.

I love this little Roadhouse inn. We ended up having dinner and breakfast there since the food is so good. it's nice to end your evening with a lovely cocktail by the firepits and then just walk right up to your room.

This place is perfect, and the staff are great! Get a vintage hoteling experience in a clean room with modern touch. The vintage part is the Victorian era wooden floors, doors, and trim, screen door to a shared balcony overlooking the main street in Calistoga, plus carrying your bags up the stairs (no elevator), and sharing the bathroom with other guests (no in-room restroom or shower) -- just like you would have if you were traveling 100 years ago when this hotel was new. The modern part is comfortable beds, chic bedding, in-room sink/mirror, outlets, and free wifi. This is a 5-star place with 3-star prices due ONLY to the shared restrooms. Highly recommend, have stayed twice, would stay again.

Our stay at the Calistoga Inn was wonderful. It was our second time staying. Our private cottage was clean, modern, and full of charm. It was conveniently located and was just as advertised. We would recommend to anyone visiting the area and we will definitely be back
